Can You Sneeze on Cue?

No? Oh, well then it’s a good thing you’re sick anyway. *achoo!*

I feel like a giant ball of crap. I can’t tell if it’s allergies or a cold or what; I’m thinking a cold because my allergies don’t usually come with body aches and pains and sweats and chills.

Like I said before, I’m booked up acting-wise for almost all of February, and I swear it was all packed into this week. I’ve been in a production of Little Red Riding Hood (as the title girl, of course!) every day this week, two out-of-town shows on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Another show tomorrow morning, and then rehearsal all afternoon for a “main stage” production in which I have a tiny, nearly insignificant role for which I am not being paid. And it’s entirely in French.

Oui oui. Ooh la la! Be our guest.
Rendez-vous, croissant, baguette.
Ta-da!

Oh, and today — after LRRH and before a one-hour rehearsal, I taught acting to Cub Scouts for nearly an hour. Je suis tres fatigue!

Does it sound like I’m whining? ‘Cause I am. And I still haven’t quite figured out how to use the “new” JS — like how to change the look of this template, the color scheme, and my font styles. Oh well. Perhaps next week…

Ta-Da!

We are back in business, baby!  Thanks to the miracle of Google and its enormous cache, I was able to salvage some of the old Diary of a Mad Cat Woman, at least some of the important stuff (like some poetry, stories, and crazy non-fiction stories).

I’m so happy to be back.  I still have my knitting blog at Blogger.com, but as Wednesday said, “It feels so lonely there, like you’re just writing out in space.”  One of the great things about Journalspace was that it was a community; we felt connected.  Despite all the drama and petty grievances that occurred, it was still nice to know that people were actually reading my blog.  The knitting blog is a very lonely place filled with yarn.

I have a rehearsal in an hour and a half, so I may have to spend the later part of today (while the rest of the “civilized” world is watching the Superbowl) changing all my doo-dads and making this blog home.
